Thanksgiving Fun

I had a really nice Thanksgiving day with my family. I have wonderful in-laws that are great hosts, and are kind enough to invite us over each year.

I brought some games this year, and played a few with some of the kids (and adults). I pulled out my copy of Attribute, which is a fun little word game from Z-Man Games. It’s easy to teach and quick to play. The only problem we had was that there was too much stuff on the table, and at Thanksgiving, that’s not such a bad thing.

Attribute is great for ages 8 and up. It plays from 3 to 8 players in less than 30 minutes. You can pick up a copy at Funagain Games for less than the cost of a few specialty coffee drinks.

We also played a game of For Sale and a bit of Family Fluxx. For Sale is a great game, and is probably one of my favorite filler card games; however, it is out of print for the moment (only for the moment.)

I loved that fact that playing the games gave me some time with some of my nieces and nephews that I don’t usually get, and that’s something to be really thankful for.
